Extension, Churchover

Extension, Churchover

This project consisted of a 1st floor extension and extensive alterations to provide further living space and a modern contemporary home inside this period property, whilst carefully maintaining the character of the barn conversion on the exterior.

The extension created two further bedrooms, a family bathroom and a jack and jill bathroom. Oak king post trusses and purlins were fitted to run the length of the 1st floor extension to enable the new rooms to sympathetically blend into the traditional feel of a barn conversion. Extensive alterations were carried out to the existing property including a new kitchen, cloak room, utility room and oak and slate flooring to bring the building up to date with a more modern style and practical living accommodation.
